my name is jp, short for jean paul. i’m a colombian audio engineer and producer.

picked up a guitar at 13, played in punx bands, then fell down the rabbit hole of recording, mixing, and making music in every genre. did the college thing (full sail u), moved to LA, and grinded my way up at the "legen- wait for it - dary" record plant—started as a runner, and ended up engineering for legends like karol g, feid, megan thee stallion, khalid, t-pain, zayn, and more. wild.

 

i'm big gear and instrument nerd. play guitar, bass, drums. my main daw is pro tools (certified), but i can also get down with logic pro & ableton. fluent in spanish & english (flex). i’m super easy to vibe w, and my xp points have made me versatile and technically sharp, like the audio version of tobey's spiderman (the og).

 

you get the point, i looove what i do, so every project i select to take on gets my full attention. whether it’s recording, mixing, or producing. trust me when is say i know first hand how much time, energy, and passion artists put into their work, so i take that very seriously.
